Tribal and Band Land: Leasing and Rights-of-way/Land Use/Building Permits Services Provided:
* Residential: Free use residential leases are available to tribal members, must be renrolled in LL Band to be eligible for lease on Band land. MCT members are eligible for leases on tribal lands.
* Recreational Lakeshore leases are available on established lakeshore leasing tracts on Cass Lake, Boy Lake and Leech Lake. Currently there are no Vacant Lots, however, information can be requested where the Lessee has improvements for sale. Lakeshore lease rental rates are based on a percentage of the Lakeshore Appraisals provided by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
* Commerical and Agricultural leases, Sand and Gravel Permits or other Right of Way Easements are available on Indian lands for a lease/Permit fee as established.
* Land Use/Building Permits: Any person leasing Indian lands (Tribal, Band Allotments) or any member of an Indian tribe owning fee lands within the reservation boundaries are required to obtain Permits through this office, for any type of development, construction or any other ground disturbance activities.
* A permit cannot be issued without approval by all DRM Programs (see Project Review Check Sheet).
AUTHORITY TO GRANT A RESIDENTIAL LEASE
AND STATEMENT OF OWNERS OF ALLOTTED INDIAN LANDS TO ACCOMPANY APPLICATION FOR RIGHT OF WAY AND/OR ELECTRICAL EASEMENT

I hereby authorize the Secretary to negotiate and receive annual rental payments at fair market value on my behalf. I further authorize the Superintendent, Minnesota Agency, to receive and disburse rental payments to all owners of the allotment, and I understand that such disbursements shall be proportionate to each owner's share in the allotment.
I do not wish to lease this property.
The undersigned owners of said land, hereby do consent to the granting of a Road Use Right-of-Way and/or Electrical Easement as contemplated by this application upon the following terms and conditions (for the reasons given below):
Other terms or comments: Heirs that do not check the box for waiving rental rate will be compensated by fair market rental rate, also the heirs that do not have addresses or are unreachable will also receive fair market rental rate as allowed and required by 25 CFR 162.
